The Lego Story Animated Short Film – Iconic Bricks and Craftsmanship

25 Feb The Lego Story Animated Short Film – Iconic Bricks and Craftsmanship

Most of us grew up playing and building with the iconic LEGO brick’s. If you love LEGO’s as much as we do prepare to fall in love with their inspiring story. The LEGO Group celebrated its 80th Birthday by looking back at its history with this Pixar-esque 17 minute short animated film. The narration tells the entrepreneurial story of LEGO founder Ole Kirk Christiansen humbled beginnings, trials and setbacks that LEGO faced on its road to success. LEGO’s heartfelt story truly teaches that anything is possible with a little perseverance.

The film interweaves the concepts of craftsmanship, pride in attention to detail, pursuit of improvement and family, all of which are the cornerstones of our business. In the film Gotfredt, Ole’s son, tries to save money by using only two coats of lacquer. Ole must educate the boy, telling him “every detail matters” and “only the best is good enough”. LEGO’s unwavering commitment to these values is to be admired and one whose steadfast dedication we should strive towards! Thanks for teaching us to play well and that imagination has no boundaries!
